The bright red long and low cooked beets pair up perfectly with the sweet pears and lush green watercress. It is almost too pretty a sight to start eating.

Digging in is recommend though: beets are good for heart health, dementia, diabetes, and digestion. They help maintain a healthy sex drive, contain anti-aging properties and detox the blood. Beetroots are exceptionally high in inorganic nitrates, which have been associated with reduced blood pressure, boosting endurance, stamina and muscle recovery.
